Airport Hotel Sydney

I walked up to the motel from the train station, as the taxi driver said he would charge me $40.00. I arrived at Reception, I was exhausted from the 8 minute walk up a steep hill with 30 kg of luggage. I was given an excellent room. I asked for ice, an iron and an ironing board. The girls ordered my 5 am taxi for the next morning for my international flight. I ordered in Thai as a suggestion from the Receptionist. I left my mobile charger on the train, the Receptionist let me use one there. I had a gorgeous stay, the staff were a million dollars. Will stay again.

The hotel was in easy reach of the airport which was important after having to change to a new flight the next morning and then get back to the airport early the next day using the 420 city bus line. The evening staff met us with a smile and quickly helped us to check-in which allowed us to get a good night's sleep. Air-conditioning worked well and the ensuite was clean and allowed us to have a much needed shower.

We use the Airport Hotel regularly as it is close to Arncliffe train station and convenient for travel into the city without parking hassles. It is also only 10 minutes drive from the airport. The rooms are adequately equipped although rather quirky, with every one appearing to have a different shape due to the peculiar orientation of the old building which was renovated to its present form.

The room was much cheaper than others nearby, and there was a take-out place just one block away with fantastic food. The staff were kind and friendly and helpful and the room was nice and clean. There was a late check out available (for an extra fee) which made my stay much more comfortable and saved me hours of waiting around for my flight at the Sydney airport.

Great value for money. Within walking distance from Arncliffe train station. Double bed in single room. Came with a fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Easy check-in/out process. Spacious for one person. Had private toilet/shower.
